They say those that can’t do, teach – and if your high school Spanish teacher was anything to go by, that statement holds true. But there are a lot of doers out there looking for a way to share their knowledge these days and what better place than a school of, say, everything to connect the world’s best, brightest and most unique with others ready to learn?

The School of Everything pairs teachers with learners in every subject imaginable. Simply sign up for the site, register as a teacher, a learner or both and add some subjects to your profile to get paired up with a student or instructor in your area. School of Everything suggests a few subjects to get you going (some of the most popular include singing, yoga, guitar and a variety of languages) but the beauty of the system is that you can enter your own favourite topic which will then appear in searches when others come to share in knowledge of that subject.

For teachers, there is a built in payment system so we aren’t talking Bohemian free exchange of ideas here – although there’s probably a class for that. Teachers can set their own price but unless it’s a particularly unique subject matter competition from other teachers keeps the prices low and the classes a great value for local students.

So whether you’re looking for a class in first aid, sustainability, or Argentinian tango, check the course catalog at The School of Everything .

Because you know exactly what you’re doing.
