Livin’ in a Gamer’s Paradise

2 September 2009 No Comment FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Hey gamer girl, you’re on fire! Playfire, that is – the number one social network for gamers where you can track your in-game stats, create a webpage or group for your guild or clan, find new friends to quest with… or just find the latest download patch or new addon for your Sims house. Like any good gamer’s site, there are tasks you can complete to earn points and boost your Playfire level and a global leaderboard for the top Playfire members.

Not sure what games are right for you? Join in discussions to get the lowdown before you shell out for the monthly subscription on that hot new MMO or share your current game collection with friends to get other’s to recommend games you might enjoy.

When you’re not updating your stats, building your game collection or chatting in the forums, you can test your knowledge by answering user generated quiz questions about the games you own to earn points and boost your Playfire level.

Playfire is still in beta and their small but game-crazy team is working to build the ultimate online resource for gamers – we’d love to see automated game recommendations, some internal trading systems for in-game goods and a section for assorted macros for each game that users can create and share. Of course with their mantle of +1 Entrepreneurship and Cloak of the Webmaster, we’re pretty sure the Playfire guys are already on it.

So forget the real world. We’ll keep spending most our lives livin’ in a gamer’s paradise.
