Aviary has a few competitors in the area of online image editing but many similar sites offer their services in a more gimmicky way, allowing users to colour, warp or distort their jpgs. Aviary, on the other hand, seems to be trying to position itself as an online replacement for some of the top enterprise image editing tools while still providing a quick and easy way to make much needed touch ups.
