Powerful Document Formatter

22 June 2009 One Comment FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

PDF files – that’s portable document format for the acronymophobic – certainly have their uses. Easy to send between different computers and viewable on the web or your desktop, PDFs have become a standard for everything from menus to downloadable application forms. As great as they are for sending cross-platform, PDFs pose a bit of a problem when it comes to editing the file. In fact most files won’t let you edit them at all without a bit of know-how and extra software.

The aptly named Convert PDF to Word web service, however, is a completely free tool that lets you upload any PDF file and convert it to a Word document, plain text, an image or HTML. You can also convert plain text files back to PDF.

That’s your bit of know-how for the day – no extra software required.
